Nyborg Business Atlas

We study the business community. You get the ideas.

Research is in progress. No quality-assured local percentage findings have been published here yet.

Nyborg Business Atlas investigates how the municipality’s businesses present themselves online and which patterns, opportunities and blind spots emerge across sectors. We share useful knowledge and concrete, free advice.

Nyborg is a research and learning pilot, not a completed national analysis. The ambition is to reuse the methods and themes in other municipalities and across Denmark.

What do we know — and what are we investigating?

Local findings await quality checks. We will publish local figures only when sources, period, definitions, selection, coding rules and uncertainty are documented. An informal estimate of around 80% generic “About us” copy is an unverified working hypothesis, not a measured Nyborg result.

Clear information can help customers assess an offer. No wording guarantees an AI citation, ranking, recommendation or sale.

Five things you can improve today

General advice, not measured shortcomings among Nyborg businesses.

Say whom you help

Replace a generic sentence with a customer type, a specific need and the task you actually solve.

Make your offer concrete

Describe services, geographical coverage and important conditions. State only what you actually deliver.

Show a verifiable example

Explain the task, work and documented result. Obtain any necessary permission and protect confidential information.

Resolve conflicting information

Check contact details, opening hours, prices and terms across your pages. Correct or date them.

Give each topic its own address

Put each important offer or piece of advice on a clear page with a heading and internal links. Check it on a phone.

Trust before insight

Published findings must be anonymous, aggregated and non-identifying. There are no public business scores, named assessments or rankings.

No future result group will contain fewer than 10 businesses. Ten is a minimum, not a guarantee of anonymity. Larger groups will also be combined or suppressed if geography, sector, distinctive features or combinations could reveal a business. Recognisable quotations, unique cases and inferable residual groups will not be published.

There is no public company search or access to internal business data. Any future filters must maintain these protections across combinations and comparisons.

Each future finding must document source and usage terms, geography, observation period, definitions, selection, number of observations, missing data, coding rules and uncertainty. Research and AI experiments require human checks. Missing website information does not prove missing expertise or poor service.

The plan is to trial the method on at least 200 local websites before publishing local percentage claims. A sample size alone does not make a sample representative; selection and coverage must also be justified.

Geography, period, topic and method are kept separate so the approach can be reused. Comparisons require comparable data. Nyborg does not automatically represent Denmark.
